Over the past couple years I've noticed that Craig's List has become very popular for companies and the general public to post products/items to sell. Every time I find a great place for realtors to advance the way they can market themselves and homes i write about it. Over the past 1.5 years i've been posting my property listings on Craig's list and have found that it works well to promote my client's listings. As a RE/MAX Realtor who sells a lot of Condos & Homes on Vancouver's Westside, Craig's list has become one of the tools i use to sell home.

There are a number of other websites trying to copy the Craig's list concept of allowing people to post properties and other items they want to sell. I do use about 20 other sites when posting my clients Apartments and Houses but I haven't found anything that compares to Craig's list. One of the reasons why http://vancouver.craigslist.org works so well is because HTML code is accepted. By allowing users to post HTML, they system doesn't only help you to sell but also increases a realtor's website search rankings. This is a topic i could talk about for days so i won't go into detail at this time.

If you're a realtor and post properties on the internet you might want to also check out the site Kijiji. http://www.kijiji.com is similar to Craig's list and allows for free home posting.
